About PCPulse
PCPulse is an independent PC-parts price tracker built by a single operator who got tired of opening seven retailer tabs to figure out whether an RTX 5080 was actually a deal at the price he was looking at.
The catalog covers GPUs, CPUs, DDR5 memory, and complete prebuilt systems. Prices are refreshed against retailer APIs throughout the day. The site exists for one job: tell the user, in two clicks, whether the price in front of them is good or bad relative to the rest of the market.
What PCPulse is
- An indexed catalog of current-gen PC parts and prebuilts.
- A price spread across the major US retailers that stock that part.
- A signal layer — when a price drops below MSRP, it shows up on the Deals page sorted by depth of discount.
- An affiliate-supported business — when you click a retailer link and buy, the retailer pays PCPulse a small commission. The price you pay is identical whether you click through PCPulse or go directly to the retailer. See our terms.
What PCPulse is not
- An online retailer. We don’t sell or ship anything.
- A scraper. We use official retailer APIs.
- A review site. We surface prices and stock; we don’t opine on whether a 5090 is right for your build.
Who built this
PCPulse is operated by an independent developer based in the United States. The catalog seed and pricing pipeline are maintained directly, not white-labelled from a third party.
